The Authenticator ®

Nothing in the security industry exceeds the challenge to accurately identify authentic security documents and the potential risk in failing to do so has never been greater. Enter the Authenticator®.

The Authenticator® has two functions. Firstly a powerful laser diode emits light at a specific wavelength and at a specific angle such that laser encoded graphics and animations can be seen clearly and easily on a diffuse projection screen. Whilst the Authenticator® works particularly well with holograms made on the Lightgate 3000FC, Lightgate V4 and Lightspeed V1 machines, the Authenticator® will work with most holographic laser encoded hidden images.

Secondly a powerful magnification lens is supplemented with a light emitting diode to easily identify micro animation, graphic and text features within security holograms and other secure documents.

The Authenticator® provides a unique means of validating any laser encoded holographic image or animation and any conventionally printed security feature, efficiently and cost effectively.
